I have been dragging my feet on starting Marinn on solids( mostly laziness on my part). With Marinn still waking up every 3 hours or less at night...it was enough to push me over the edge. Hopefully this will help! As you can see she LOVED it...we're still working on the coordinating of actually chewing and swallowing!

Introducing Alexa
Here is the sweetest addition to the Jackson family:our beautiful new niece, Alexa(and yes she is smiling already at 2 weeks...little genius!)She was born June 27th to Steve and Danielle. She couldn't have asked for better parents. It's fun to know that Marinn and Alexa will be in the same grade(possibly Taylor too!). We can't wait to meet this beauty in person. We miss you guys terribly! Who knew that from all of these Jackson boys would come all these little girls?!
Look who is 6 months old!
Can it be true? Miss Marinn is a half a year old! Strange. How is it that time goes so slow when you have a crying baby at 3:30 in the morning and yet fly by when they give you looks like these. We are so greatful to have this "googley girl"(as Brady would say) a part of our family. And now, if you are Mimi you can enjoy some of the funny faces of Marinn. Otherwise, look out for a lot of pics...I just couldn't make my mind up.

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year...
Back floating the afternoon away...
Getting some giggling in with Kristi!
Mommy and Marinny enjoying the parade. Would you believe she actually slept through most of it? I guess I just need a few sirens to go off in the middle of the night!
The boys at the parade! We had some great seats...without having to spend the night to get them!

... according to Kim, that is! Independence day includes all of his favorites: golf, parade, family bbq, swim, games and fireworks. This is just areally a fun part of the country to be in for the 4th. I think that Braden was more excited to have his Dad around all day! All in all it was a great day and (true to form) most was undocumented by pictures. Oh well.

Mansion 11 second generation
In my life I have really been fortunate to have really extraordinary roommates. These girls have
enriched my life, expanded my views and each has definitely help shape me into the person that I am today. I count these girls as my sisters. And though we all have our separate lives now all it takes is a phone call, email or visit to pick up where we have left off. That's why I was so excited to have Erika and her daughter come over for a play date with Marinn. The only downer is that we don't live closer! I loved catching up and watching our kids interact. Erika, your daughter is just as beautiful as you and I can tell she has your " I love life" kinda personality!
