Strawberry Days

I have a special little place in my heart for Strawberry Days. Seven years ago Kim and I went on our first date to the rodeo( a totally NEW experience for the both of us). Sadly, Kim was working a Basketball camp so we couldn't re-create that magic moment. But Luke and Leslie graciously allowed us to tag along with them for the day for some more kid friendly activities! Despite the drizzly weather we had a great time and Brady is still talking about it. These pictures are totally out of order...sorry!

Marinn and Colbly both enjoyed the parade so much that they fell asleep. The big boys enjoyed the carnival rides. Camden went on the giant ferris wheel all by himself!

Just for Mimi

I guess I've been kind of waiting. Waiting for things to happen. To report some big change like I dunno.... A JOB maybe?! Or at the very least some enjoyable weather. My mom convinced me that the world hasn't stopped and that her grand kids continue to get bigger each day. So Mimi, this one is for you .Here is the latest pictures of the kiddos .And yes, they are out of order I just can't figure out how to fix it!

Bumbo Fun

Marinn has become our little centerpiece during dinner. We just stick her in the Bumbo and voila: instant entertainment. I have to say it again these Bumbo's are genius and dinner has never been this much fun.

This is a really great time of year...with temperatures warm but comfortable Brady is all ready to swim. But since we are still waiting for a specific part so we can open the pool, Braden graciously volunteered to test out the sprinklers!

Marinn Claire's Blessing Day

On Sunday we were finally able to bless our Marinny. I say finally because for one reason or another we have been pushing this back for "a better week". We were worried that her beautiful dress from Mimi might not fit anymore! Luckily it did and it was just a beautiful event in general. Marinn was actually calm and happy which is what I was PRAYING for and we had such wonderful family to support us. The only downer was our family that was not able to be there ( Morg and Em and Andrew, Evan, Steve and Danielle/Alexa) especially my parents. All in all, it was a perfect Mother's Day.

Hail the Graduate

Well, it finally has come time for our "student" phase of life to end! Kim has received his Masters and I couldn't be more proud of him. Anyone who knows Kim knows that he really dislikes school so it's really time to celebrate! And here is the braggy wife part: He managed to graduate as valedictorian and will be speaking tomorrow at convocation...and has also received the top graduate research award for his thesis(he did not want me writing about this...sorry Kim!). I only wish that he would enjoy this accomplishment- he is too stressed about applying for coaching jobs. This has been a long time coming and while we feel a bit unsure about what the future may hold for us, we are excited to see what's behind the next bend. Our attempt for a family picture failed miserably.... Brady running around and Marinn crying...sadly, that's pretty accurate!
