Okay so maybe this isn't the most flattering of pictures...but..BRADEN actually took this one! Maybe that is why there is a hoop in the background! He was so proud of himself. I am just thrilled there is actual documentation of Marinn and I together.It seems like Moms are always behind the camera!

Brady's 3rd Birthday!

What? I have a three year old?! When did this happen? We love this energetic, basketball obsessed little guy. We celebrated with a pancake breakfast with the cousins (missed you Andrew and "Jaci") and ended the day with a Daddy and kiddos trip to Chuck E Cheese. And inbetween the Cougars beat Utes. In Brady world it doesn't get much better than that!

This is how you spell LOVE

This being Valentine's Day...let me pass along my love and appreciation for my famiy and friends. I am usually not one for going all out for the day(living on a budget helps that out). But I do believe we all need a little reminder every now and again to tell and show the people around us that we love them. Here is a peek as to what we did at the Jackson house! We woke up to lots of new snow and a pancake breakfast(Brady's favorite) made by Kim. Braden was able to finally pass out the card's that he made...he's been begging all week (they will be a little late to our family far away!). He had a ball making cookies with Grandma and playing out in the snow with Papa.

Kim and I enjoyed a rare lunch date without the kiddos... a little harder for me to leave them than I care to admit! Kim is my best friend and best love and it was nice to have 'us' time. My favorite part of the day was capturing this exchange between Marinn and her dad. It reminded me of the special bond I have with my dad.

Could you just eat those dimples up? Pretty adorable. So that was pretty much it for us...low key and perfect. Regardless of what day it is, I hope wherever you are, you feel loved.

1 Month Old and ready for my close up

Where does the time go...? Having a newborn is this strange experience of moments flying by and yet hours going by slowly. It's hard to explain. In a single word: grateful. So very grateful for this little girl in our lives. Here's to the first moments of forever.

From Bathtime to Potty

Note to self: Do NOT attempt to potty train your toddler within the first 2 weeks of a new baby's life. It's just not a good idea...the laundry alone is reason enough! That being said, the transition from one child to two has been pretty smooth. All I need is my mom to permanently move in with us ha-ha! I do not know what we would have done without her help. THANK YOU just doesn't quite seem to cover how blessed we are to have her with us. I am trying not to think of her going home this weekend! As you can see Braden is just as active as ever and Miss Marinn hated her first bath...we love these kiddos.

Presenting Marinn Claire

We are so happy to finally announce the arrival of Marinn Claire. She was born January 5th at 2:50 pm. Even though she was 7 lbs 8 oz she looks a lot like 9lbs 1oz Braden did. Thanks to Mom's chubby cheeks(hey at least she got my dimples too)! Labor and delivery went really fast after pitocin was started and was really intense but we both made through okay! My Dr. just about missed her arrival thanks to a major snow storm. You'll notice that once again I have petichia from pushing...so much for looking good post pardom! Marinn is a joy to our family. We are trying to enjoy her more and worry about her less. It is something special to see Kim hold her because he has been wanting a little girl for so long.Brady has been really gentle with her and is doing his best to be a patient big brother.
